How do I sign in?
With Discord. The first time, you enter your licence key once and it is attached to that Discord account. There is no password to remember and nothing to reset.
Where is my key?
In the loader file you downloaded, on the line beginning
KEY. Once you have signed in, your account
page shows it as well.
I reinstalled, or changed Cherax account. Now it will not load.
Your key locks to one Cherax account the first time it runs. Ask in the Discord and the lock will be moved for you. It is deliberately not something you can do yourself: if it were, anyone who got into your account could move your key onto their own machine.
Do I need to download a new loader when there is an update?
No. The loader checks for a newer signed build and installs it itself; it takes effect the next time you launch. You only need a fresh loader if yours stops working entirely.
Can I use my key on two computers?
No. One key runs on the one Cherax account it is locked to. Moving it is the request above, not a second install — and a key seen on a second account is what sharing looks like, so it gets suspended.
The menu shows blocked attacks. Is something wrong?
No, that is it working. The counter on the Protection tab is how many malicious sync packets were refused this session. A rising number means someone is trying and failing.
My key expired, or it says suspended.
Your account page shows which. Expired keys need renewing with the owner; a suspended key means it was banned, and the Discord is the place to ask why.
Which platforms does BlueScript run on?
Cherax is the main build. Lexis is supported and still being worked on. Pantheon is in development and not available yet — the status page always shows where each one is.
Where do I suggest something, or report a bug?
On the feedback board, once you are signed in. Everyone can vote on what is there, and what gets votes gets built first. Replies appear under the item, so the answer does not scroll away the way a Discord message does.
What is the chat?
One room for everyone signed in, on the chat page. It is for talking to other users; it is not a support channel, and nothing there is kept for long. Anything that needs an answer belongs on the feedback board or in the Discord.
What does signing in with Discord give you?
Your account id, display name and avatar. Nothing else: it cannot read your messages, your servers or your email, and nothing is posted on your behalf.
